電腦斷層掃描是一種利用數位幾何處理後重建的三維放射線醫學影像。該技術主要通過單一軸面的X射線旋轉照射人體,由於不同的組織對X射線的吸收不同,可以用電腦的三維技術重建出斷層面影像。經由窗寬、窗位處理,可以得到相應組織的斷層影像。將斷層影像層層堆疊,即可形成立體影像。

With a background in anatomy and traditional sculpting, he has worked as Lead and Modeling Supervisor, contributing to feature films such as 'Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D', '300', 'Barnyard' and 'Fantastic Four'.

範例(英):As an independent game development studio, what does it take to put together a title that gamers will come to adore? A lot of innovation and a lot of gorgeous design. This is the very same challenge that TimeGate Studios was faced with when developing their newest title, 'Section 8. Long before the release of the game, trailers of Section 8 began to turn heads and garner the attention of the gaming community. Onlookers were already leaving comments on these trailers of how gorgeous it looked and how they couldn’t wait to give Section 8 a shot. The design and promising looking gameplay whet the appetites of the gaming community and, of course, CG lovers. Getting a little bit of time to talk with the art director, Phillip Morales, at TimeGate Studios gave us some insight on how the initial vision of Section 8 became a reality.

Multi-layer rendering, the first primary enhancement, uses a new class of shaders to direct Camera to generate layered Photoshop PSD files, revised depth of field IMG files and Rich Pixel Format (RPF) files for images containing alpha, z-depth, and other channel information, thus replacing EIAS’ older EIZ file format. This is a welcomed addition that broadcast designers and visual effects production houses have been desperately waiting for and will surely take into their workflows without delay.

The Dump" is a personal study. The initial idea was to work on a futuristic interior, rather heavy in impression, and abandoned. I didn't want something too straight, so I've used curved shapes from the initial sketch.

For the unfamiliar, EIAS is a system of applications that work together to provide users with a strong set of professional rendering and animation tools that focus on the markets of broadcast design, hard surface animation, digital sets, architectural renderings and product illustration. Its application list includes Camera — a superb hybrid phong / raytracing engine with a HDRI engine. Animator, the system’s primary animation application, provides solid, albeit somewhat limited, animation tools. Renderama, a distributed rendering system, is an effective product with unlimited render node support and increased data throughput for v7, and Transporter, a data exchange application that is included within EIAS supports a number of data formats.

The use of these simulations means you can practise for a very long time without hurting anyone. The patient would be scanned and the CT scan is used to produce a 3D mesh. That can be used in the same hospital or in any corner of the globe. The surgeon can be trained. Minimizing X-Ray time, refining performance, saving lives.

Danté's Inferno was brought to life by Electronic Arts and set free here today at VIEW.


The question was poised here at VIEW by Jonathan Knight, Executive Producer at EA's Visceral Games Studio: Is Danté Alighieri laughing or rolling in his grave? What reaction would the luminary have to EA's adaption of part one of The Divine Comedy? The action/advernture game is based on the pages of this masterpiece, and Jonathan is adamant is looks pretty good for 700 years old.
